Lexey Mikolon is the policy intern for the League of Women Voters of the United States. She is responsible for supporting the work of state and local affiliates through research and legislative tracking and helping advance the League's federal legislative priorities.

Before joining the League, Lexey worked to advance voting rights and immigration reform through the work of non-partisan organizations and state government. As a Research Intern for the Office of Governor Josh Shapiro, she assisted in tracking key performance indicators and conducting research to support the Governor's agenda. Within her nonprofit capacity, she was a Democracy Fellow at the Declaration for American Democracy, focusing on extensive research related to money in politics. Furthermore, she worked as a Protect Democracy Intern at Public Citizen, analyzing campaign finance legislation and election protection measures. Related to immigration reform, Lexey worked as the Advocacy Specialist Intern at CASA, where she researched legislation surrounding federal immigration reform and produced an outreach plan to engage new voters in Pennsylvania.

Lexey is a Pennsylvania native attending Millersville University of Pennsylvania, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Government, Policy, and Law with minors in Social Justice, Sociology, and Criminology.
