On Monday, the Department of Justice announced their plans to sue the state of Florida over their voter purge efforts. The state of Florida is also suing the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) claiming DHS has failed to allow the state to certify citizenship of registered voters.

MacNamara echoed sentiments shared by Attorney General, Eric Holder, who spoke at our National Convention earlier in the day that our work helping citizens register to vote is not, and should not be construed as, a partisan activity.
