You may remember that in the middle of June, we welcomed over 800 members from across the country to Washington, DC for our national convention. Convention was a huge success where we got a lot of great work done, learned a great deal from one another and Leagues across the country, and also had the opportunity to listen to some really incredible speakers.

Now those speeches are available for public consumption!

Watch DC Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton welcome the League and its members to the city. Watch US Attorney General Eric Holder speak about voting rights. Watch Kathleen Hall Jamieson of the Annenberg Center at the University of Pennsylvania speak about third party political ads and Flackcheck.org. Watch political pollster John Zogby give the keynote address at our banquet and talk about the 2012 elections. Watch the How Do We Divide and Conquer panel discussion with political journalist Eleanor Clift, former Congressman Mickey Edwards, and former Federal Elections Committee chairman and current lawyer for Stephen Colbert’s SuperPAC Trevor Potter moderated by president Elisabeth MacNamara. Watch the Defend Democracy Advocacy Panel.

After watching these speeches, let us know what you think about them!
