Action Plans to be Developed by State League Attendees at Council
One major Council 2013 goal is for attendees to develop an action plan to take back to their states and put into practice during 2013-14, using the tools, tips and guidance you receive at Council. The agenda will provide many opportunities to develop/strengthen, strategize and get support for your action plan.

We would like you to come prepared with one idea, topic or “campaign” that will be the focus of your action plan.  So please ask for time in advance with your state League board to discuss and agree on a topic to bring to Council.

It could be a core election area – such as hosting statewide candidate debates or working with local Leagues to participate in National Voter Registration Day (Sept 24, 2013), educating the public on ballot issues, election law changes, for all the citizens of the state – or it could be an important issue your League is visibly leading in your state.

As there are many cases where there will be two Council attendees from one state League, please work together with your state board team to decide on ONE idea!  This focus will help you have maximum impact as you work to develop or strengthen your strategies around it!
