The first annual International Day of the Girl will be celebrated on Thursday, October 11, 2012 with a special panel discussion: BEST PRACTICES: Preventing Child Exploitation at Major Events. Speakers include: Abigail Lawlis Kuzma Office of the Indiana Attorney General -- Director and Chief Counsel of Consumer Protection. The Indiana Attorney General ran an anti-human trafficking campaign during Super Bowl 2012. David Arkless is ManpowerGroup's Global President of Corporate and Government Affairs. As a world-renowned expert on labor market trends, he is a highly influential campaigner in the fight to end human trafficking. Amongst his many activities, he is also President of the Board of End Human Trafficking Now, the leading global organization empowering the business community to eradicate human trafficking and modern day slavery. The League of Women Voters US is a co-sponsor.
