Big News!!

The updated Member Resources site is coming soon – very soon! The Forums site will be unavailable today, February 19th, as the content of both the Members Area and the Forums websites are merged into one, integrated Member Resources site. The whole process will take several hours with the site re-opening on Thursday, February 20, 2014.

  • One of the many important business items at national convention is the review and possible amendment of the LWVUS Bylaws. Below is the process that Leagues should use to propose an amendment. All proposed amendments are reviewed by the Bylaws Committee.
  • Please use the Convention 2014 registration form to register as a delegate or visitor. The fee includes participation in all trainings, briefings, caucuses, general sessions, and national networking events, and includes the LWVUS-hosted banquet and program on Monday evening. The online registration deadline is May 23, 2014. Registrations after that date will be $385 at the Convention site.
  • Check out Dallas' tourism website, for information about things to do and see while you are there for Convention.
  • The Omni Dallas Hotel is the Convention 2014 location. They have provided special rates for convention attendees. Dates available for convention rate of $169 per night : June 2 -14, 2014. Please book by: May 12, 2014.

  • "First Call" to Convention 2014 in Dallas, TX on June 6-10, 2014. Please plan to join national, state and local League leaders from around the country for this lively biennial event - to hear nationally known speakers, learn more about the issues important to the organization and the nation, participate in training sessions and join in the discussion and networking that make the League a strong and vital force in our democracy.
