Three national Board members from the League of Women Voters honor Senator Carl Hayden, of Arizona, as the only Congressman still on the Hill who voted "yea" on the 19th amendment which granted women the right to vote. Ceremonies held on August 18, 1961 in the Old Senate Office Building. Honoring the Senator are (left to right) Mrs. William H.
