The League of Women Voters of Kern County, CA is visiting area high schools this spring with one message: register, vote, and be counted!  By June 1st, the Kern County League will have held registration events at eight schools.  Just this week, members helped more than 250 Ridgeview High School students complete registration applications!

Through its participation in LWVEF's 2010 High School Voter Registration Project, the Kern County League is at the front lines of a groundbreaking effort to engage youth and also measure the effectiveness of various registration strategies.  Their experiences and insights will help inform Leagues' youth-related work for years to come. Learn more here.
