Court Denies Motion for Preliminary Injunction in LWVUS v. EAC Executive Director Brian Newby (EAC)

Washington, DC - “While we are disappointed in today’s decision, we will appeal to protect the critical rights of voters in these three states, especially during this election year,” said Chris Carson, president of the League of Women Voters of the United States.

“Despite this setback, we are confident in the strength of our case,” said Wendy Weiser, director of the Brennan Center’s Democracy Program.
