Ian is a rising senior at Duke University. He is currently majoring in history, with a concentration in the development of markets and businesses across time. He is also working on minors in political science and creative writing. Ian developed an interest in politics and advocacy at a young age, nurtured by a politically active household and a strong interest in current events. This interest has expressed itself through local volunteer work at his hometown of Corpus Christi Texas, and attendance at demonstrations. In his spare time, Ian enjoys reading and writing. He also likes to spend time with his two dogs, Milo and Mitzi, sharing their picture with whoever asks (and a few people who don’t). They also love to travel, experiencing new cultures and ways of thinking.
