Margaret Ziccardi is a Data and Evaluation Fellow at the League of Women Voters of the United States. In her role, she assists with evaluation projects across the nationwide Leagues and within the LWVUS office.

Margaret's professional background encompasses education, research, and community leadership. As a research assistant at Cornell University, she contributed to ongoing projects by analyzing data on protests and UN peacekeeping operations. She also led The Smart is Strong Foundation at Cornell University, organizing events and scholarships to combat gender-based educational inequality.

In Madrid, Margaret served as an English Language Teaching Assistant, enhancing English learning and cultural exchange for primary students. Her experiences reflect her commitment to connecting people and leading with empathy to improve educational outcomes and foster positive social change.

Margaret holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government and History from Cornell University. She will pursue a master's degree in Democracy and Government at the Autonomous University of Madrid. Her hobbies include reading, playing violin, and finding new cafes in her city.
