Stone Nayyar is the Event Coordinator at LWVUS. They work on planning and executing Convention, Council, educational webinars, and a variety of other events at the League. Stone’s first League experience was volunteering with their local League over the summer of 2017 before interning at LWVUS in the summer of 2018. They rejoined the League as an Event Coordinator in February of 2024. Stone’s grandmother was a League member as well.
Previously, Stone worked in events at the Human Rights Campaign in 2022 and on civic engagement and voter participation at Civic Nation’s ALL IN Challenge in 2021. They also have experience teaching English to students and teachers at schools in Nicaragua and India. Stone holds a BA in Anthropology from Tufts University. In their spare time, they can be found running a Minecraft Realm for their friends, learning new vegetarian recipes, hosting game nights, and spending time with family.
