We all have one issue that we hold dear. In my case, it’s Equal Rights.

A federal judge ruled in the League of Women Voters of North Carolina’s case that the North Carolina State Board of Elections must provide a notice and cure process for absentee ballots marked for rejection.

Attempts to suppress votes through voter purges have led to legal battles. 

The League of Women Voters of North Carolina filed a federal lawsuit challenging several of the state’s registration and voting requirements.

The League of Women Voters of North Carolina filed a motion to intervene in a lawsuit that would remove individuals en mass from voter rolls in Mecklenburg and Guilford counties.

Today the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 5-4 in Rucho v. League of Women Voters of North Carolina that no fair test exists for courts to determine when partisan gerrymandering has gone too far.
