The League of Women Voters of New Jersey and partners filed an amicus brief in Conforti v. Hanlon, a case challenging New Jersey’s use of misleading features in its ballot design.
A federal judge ruled in Trump v. Murphy that election provisions allowing election officials to begin canvassing vote-by-mail ballots 10 days before Election Day and allowing ballots without a postmark to be counted if received within 48-hours of the election do not violate federal law.
UPDATE: Motion to intervene was granted in Trump v. Murphy, which challenges New Jersey’s plan to mail vote-by-mail ballots automatically to every registered New Jersey voter.
