"We are committed to making sure that everyone can exercise their right to vote, because voting is the foundation of democracy."

This year, more than 500 Leagues will hold in-person and virtual voter registration events and encourage people to check their registration status ahead of Election Day, highlighting the importance of voters making their voices heard in this year’s election. Leagues will engage voters at high schools, colleges and universities, naturalization ceremonies, and even public spaces like libraries, a WNBA game, and LUSH cosmetics stores across the country.

“National Voter Registration Day is an amazing celebration that brings together a diverse group of organizations to show that every voter's voice is important in our democracy," said Jeanette Senecal, Senior Director of Mission Impact at the League of Women Voters. “To empower voters and defend democracy, our Leagues find creative, innovative ways to engage their communities and inspire voters to make their voices heard.”
