Over the last week, we saw three big wins for voting rights at the state level. It is, we hope, a bellwether of things to come.
2 months into the 2015 State Legislative sessions, we have seen a groundswell of assaults on voters in many states. We have been working to fight these threats and advance voting opportunities.
Attending the Election Protection convening made me excited for what’s ahead in 2015. I’m looking forward to hearing about the successes that will emerge next year.
Now is the time to start thinking about how and when you’ll vote. In addition to getting ready to vote as you have in years past, voters in many states may also need to show voter identification in order to cast a ballot.
